The Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute is a non-partisan, nonprofit organization committed to preserving and promoting Ronald Reagan's legacy, including his timeless values of individual liberty, economic opportunity, global democracy, and national pride.

The Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum, the Ronald Reagan Institute, the Reagan Center for Public Affairs, the Walter and Leonore Annenberg Presidential Learning Center, the Air Force One Pavilion, and the award-winning Air Force One Discovery Center are all supported by the Ronald Reagan Foundation.

The Reagan Library, located in Simi Valley, California, holds approximately 55 million pages of gubernatorial, presidential, and personal records, as well as over 60,000 gifts and artifacts documenting Ronald and Nancy Reagan's life. It is now also the last resting place of the 40th President of the United States and his first wife.

Application Criteria for Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation Scholars Program in USA


Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation Scholar candidates must:

  • Demonstrate outstanding leadership, character, communication skills, academic achievement, and commitment to Ventura County
  • Demonstrate strong academic performance (minimum 3.0 grade point average/4.0 scale or equivalent)
  • Be citizens of the United States of America
  • Graduate from a high school in Ventura County, California during the current academic year (home-schooled high school seniors in Ventura County, California also are eligible)
  • Plan to enroll in a full-time undergraduate course of study toward a bachelor’s degree at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States for the entire upcoming academic year.
