Equitable ExcellenceSM Scholarship in USA: Students have the opportunity to receive a $2,500, $10,000 or $25,000 scholarship. To recognize the important role their dedicated educators play in guiding these students along their path to success, we also award a $1,000 grant to every Equitable Excellence winner’s high school.

Every year, students all around the country strive to make a good and long-lasting difference in their communities and beyond. Every year, we offer $1.8 million in college scholarships to hundreds of these extraordinary young people from all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico.

Scholarships of $2,500, $10,000, or $25,000 are available to students. We also offer a $1,000 grant to each Equitable Excellence winner's high school to acknowledge the critical role their committed instructors play in supporting these kids along their road to success.

Application Criteria for Equitable ExcellenceSM Scholarship in USA


Equitable ExcellenceSM award winners come from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences, but are united by their drive, determination, and strong character.

Applicants to the Equitable ExcellenceSM Scholarship must:

  • Demonstrate courage, strength and wisdom as shown by community impact through volunteer service
  • Be high school seniors planning to attend an accredited two-year or four-year college or university in the United States.
  • Be a United States citizen or legal resident living or claiming residency in one of the 50 U.S. states, District of Columbia or Puerto Rico.

All submissions will be evaluated up to a maximum of 10,000 or by the due date, whichever comes first. Students who have excelled in community service as a result of their hard work and dedication will be recognized. Students will be chosen based on their demonstrated excellent achievement as reflected in their essays and online recommendations.

Academic performance, leadership, engagement in school and community organizations, and job experience will all be taken into account as indicators of a student's full potential for future success. Financial necessity is not taken into account.

All submissions will be considered, and the awardees will reflect a broad group of students who are making a difference in the community.

Not all program candidates will be chosen as beneficiaries. All applicants consent to the decision being final.
