Future of School Scholarship Program in USA: If selected as a recipient, applicants planning to attend a four (4) year college or university will receive an award of up to $10,000 per year or applicants planning to attend a two (2) year community college, vocational-technical or trade school will receive an award of up to $5,000.

Whether students are limited by geography, health, or familial constraints, or simply aren't being challenged enough academically, blended and online learning programs have the potential to close huge opportunity gaps for students and allow them to pursue academic and vocational goals that are beyond their current circumstances.

A rising number of students are turning to blended and online learning programs for a variety of reasons, all with the same objective in mind: customizing their education so they may break free from their current restrictions.

The Student Scholarship Program is for individuals who have previously proven their desire to embrace the power of technology in their educational path.

Our student scholarship program (SSP) provides financial assistance to graduates of certified blended and online programs so that they can continue their education after high school. The SSP is the only scholarship of its type, dedicated to students who have demonstrated a dedication to digital learning and desire to continue using it throughout their secondary education.

Future of School Scholarship Program in USA

Applicants of  Future of School Scholarship Program must:

  • Be high school seniors (U.S. Citizens) who have completed a minimum of five (5) *blended or **online courses during their last two years of high school and who demonstrate academic achievement or improvement as a direct result of their enrollment in the blended/online learning curriculum.
  • Plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two-  or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school for the entire upcoming academic year.

*The definition of blended learning is a formal education program in which a student learns: (1) at least in part through online learning, with some element of student control over time, place, path, and/or pace; (2) at least in part in a supervised brick-and-mortar location away from home; (3) and the modalities along each student’s learning path within a course or subject are connected to provide an integrated learning experience.

**Online Course – All course activity is done online; there are no required face-to-face sessions within the course and no requirements for on-campus activity. Purely online courses totally eliminate geography as a factor in the relationship between the student and the institution. They consist entirely of online elements that facilitate the three critical student interactions: with content, the instructor, and other students.

AWARD:

Ten scholars who matriculate to four-year universities will earn a two-year grant of up to $10,000 each. Twenty scholars will receive a $5,000 scholarship for their post-secondary experience in any program of their choosing, with the option to apply for a second award if they complete their second post-secondary academic year satisfactorily.

Our scholarship program has a very high acceptance rate. There were approximately 1,000 original applications for the 2020 cohort, but only about 40 were chosen as the final winners. In order to qualify for their second-year award, recipients of our 2-year grants must maintain a specific GPA during their first year.
