As an international student, you may miss some food items in your native country. Sometimes, you could have brought some items from your home country that might be expensive in Estonia. You should have an initial idea regarding the cost of living in Estonia. After calculating the estimated monthly cost, you should write down the items to carry in Estonia.

Not Necessary but Useful Items to Carry in Estonia

You will find all of the below-stated items in Estonia. But there will be a huge cost difference. It’s always wise to buy those items from the home country and carry them to the foreign land. 

  • Make the best use of cartoon boxes (This will save money and increase our item carrying capacity.

  • Always put a list of items’ names on each box you are carrying. This will not only help you to retrieve items easily from any box but also will help you during immigration.

  • Buy a power bar/extension cord/adapter as your device might not be plugged with Canadian ports.

  • Few pairs of spectacles (as they are expensive items in Estonia)

  • Buy contact lenses if you wear them.

  • Take care of your eye and dental issues in your home country if possible. (It may cost you more in Estonia.)

  • Take prescribed medicine along with a doctor’s prescription.

  • Buy pest control items, pressure cooker, and dolly if possible.

  • If you are Indian Subcontinent and like spices, take quite a few of them so that you can survive eating those for few days.
