Program Overview for MEd in Education in Canada:

These are the international student eligibility for the MEd in Education in Canada
- Application deadlines vary depending on concentration
- PhD Education Studies = Dec. 1
- Exceptional Learners, Counselling = Jan. 31
- Educational Administration & Leadership, and Curriculum & Instruction = Jan. 31, July 31
- Critical Studies, Adult Education and Instructional Design = 3 months prior to intended start date
- MEd applicants must hold a relevant undergraduate degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0 (B), and at least one year of relevant teaching or related professional experience.
- Applicants must submit:
- A completed online application
- Letter of interest
- Up-to-date resumé
- Three reference letters (academic references are preferred, particularly if other degrees were recent)
- Official transcripts (copied or opened transcripts are not official)
- International applicants whose first language is not English must submit language scores that meet or exceed:
- International English language testing system (IELTS) = band 7 in all categories
- Paper-based TOEFL = 650
- Computer-based TOEFL = 280
- TWE = 5.5
