Program Overview for Bachelor in Sculpture/Installation in Canada:

In the Sculpture/Installation program, you will experiment with creating three-dimensional sculpture and installation work. You will learn the skills to create installations – works of art designed for public spaces. You will use the fabrication studios to explore hands-on and digital creation.

The program includes studio courses that develop your imagination, critical and technical knowledge in areas such as:

  • Sculpting
  • 3D technology
  • Metalwork
  • Woodworking
  • Mould-making
  • Plastic and metal fabrication
  • Bronze-casting

Graduates of this project work in:

  • Exhibition production, installation, and creation of public art
  • Art gallery management
  • Art education
  • In-service artists, sculptors, and installation artists

The eligibility for Bachelor in Sculpture/Installation in Canada for both domestic and international student is:

For Ontario high school students, a minimum overall average of 70%; Portfolio (samples of your work and a visual representation of who you are); Statement of Intent; Official transcripts;

For international students, Secondary School Graduation is equivalent to Grade 12 in Ontario with an overall average of B or 70% numeric equivalent in the final year and If you are applying from a country or school system with English as the official language of instruction, a minimum grade of B or 70% numeric equivalent in English 12 or equivalent course is required.

You also need

  • Statement of Intent (required for all programs) and Portfolio (required for all studio BFA, BDes programs) or Writing sample (required for the BA in Visual and Critical Studies)
  • Official transcripts
  • English Language Proficiency Test results (if required)
