Application Criteria for Create-A-Greeting-Card Scholarship in USA

This contest is open to all high school, college and university students enrolled during the time period of the contest in an academic program designed to conclude with the awarding of a diploma or a degree.
This contest is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia, as well as American Samoa, Guam, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico. International students who have a student visa to attend school in the United States are considered legal residents and eligible.
Applicants must be 14 years of age or older at the time of entry, unless prohibited by law.
Employees of Sponsor, their family members, and persons living in the same household as employees or their family members are not eligible.
No purchase is necessary to enter the Create-A-Greeting-Card Scholarship: gallerycollection.com’s annual $10,000 contest to create a Christmas card, holiday card, birthday card or all-occasion greeting card.
Void where prohibited by law. The Contest is governed by U.S. law and is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
One application allowed per person. If it is determined that a person has entered with more than one identity, all of that person’s entries will be disqualified.
No prize will be awarded to applicants who do not meet the eligibility requirements. All information on the application must be accurate and complete
Original art, photograph or computer graphics can be submitted online as a JPEG (.jpg), thru the entry page. Original art can be sent by taking a digital photograph or scanning it.

We formally invite you to enter our 14th Annual Create-A-Greeting Card $10,000 contest. Design a greeting card for the opportunity to win yourself a $10,000 scholarship and $1,000 for your school. Plus, your winning entry will be made into a bona fide greeting card by The Gallery Collection.

Judging Criteria for Create-A-Greeting-Card Scholarship in USA!

One (1) $10,000 Scholarship Prize (referred to as "the Scholarship") will be granted, as well as a $1,000 prize to the winner's school. The Sponsor has a team of Greeting Card Design specialists on staff. On a monthly basis, a team of objective judges chosen by the Sponsor will review the entries and choose about 100 designs to be uploaded to The Gallery Collection's Facebook page for voting.

(Not all designs are chosen to be put up for vote.) Visit the Gallery Collection's Facebook page, "like" it, and cast your vote on the entries that have been submitted.

The judges' judgment is binding. The following criteria will be considered to choose the Scholarship winner:

Overall attractiveness
Execution quality
Originality and Creativity
Incorporation of design components with success
Suitability for usage as a greeting card 6. Appeal to The Gallery Collection's business and consumer clients
Suitability as a greeting card design in Prudent's Gallery Collection (see www.gallerycollection.com website for current designs)

When deciding the ultimate Winner, non-binding user vote may be taken into account.

After Submission

The top five submissions receiving the most votes from the monthly voting sessions, as well as five (5) entries chosen by the panel of judges, will be the official Top ten (10) finalists once the Submission Period ends.

The top ten finalists will next be chosen by a panel of judges.

On or about April 29, 2022, at Prudent Publishing Company, Inc., 65 Challenger Road, PO Box 150, Ridgefield Park, NJ 07660, a panel of judges will evaluate all eligible Contest Entries based on the Judging Criteria below and choose the Scholarship recipient.

The judges' judgment is binding.
