In the interdisciplinary Canadian Studies and Indigenous Studies program at Trent, you’ll be supported in your curiosity and your passion for intellectual debate and dialogue.

Structure your studies by choosing from one of two research options, a thesis or a major research paper. Explore important issues and debates in Canadian Studies and Indigenous Studies and consider areas of specialization such as: Canada in the global context; cultural heritage: women and gender, the arts; policy and community; or identities and difference in Canada.

  •  A clear interest in an interdisciplinary graduate experience

    A GRE test score is not required for admission into this program

  • A Writing Sample(Submit a sample of your writing of about 20 pages or less. Writing samples preferred format is PDF.)
  • Proof of Citizenship (ie. copy of passport or birth certificate) will be requested, only if an offer of admission is made.
