Bachelor's and/or a Master's degree in a relevant discipline, such as psychology, sociology, organizational sciences, human resources.
  1. You cannot be admitted onto this Master's program without having either a Bachelor's or Master's degree. Work experience or an interest in this field cannot be taken into account for the admission process without a sufficient academic background.
  2. An overall grade point average (GPA) of at least: - A-/B+/3.5 (American system) - 2.1 HONS (an upper second class honours degree in the British system) - B (ECTS system), or - 7.5 (Dutch system)
  3. A sufficient academic background in research methodology and statistics. Your background education should contain at least one introductory statistics course and courses that include multiple regression, analysis of variance, factor analysis and research methodology.
  4. You also need :
    1. Motivation Letter
    2. CV
    3. Relevant written work, such as your Bachelor's or Master's thesis or written assignment.
    4. Two letters of recommendation
    5. A copy of your Bachelor's or Master's thesis or an essay completed during your studies (only in English and at least 1500 words; if you have not yet written a thesis, you could also upload a dedicated writing sample in form of an academic essay or research proposal).

In order to be accepted directly onto our Research Master's program in Psychology: Individual Differences and Assessment, you must have the following academic background:
  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree, which provided (under)graduate training in a relevant discipline: Psychology, Human Resources, General Social Sciences, Pedagogics, Biology OR
  2. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sociology or Organization Studies, as long as you have taken the minor in Human Resource Studies OR
  3. You have successfully followed the Pre-Master’s program in Human Resource Studies. Students with a different bachelor's or master's degree as mentioned above are eligible for the half-year Pre-masters Human Resource Studies program (30 ECTS). After which they can move on to the Research Master in Psychology: Individual Differences and Assessment after completing the pre-masters HRS.
  4. You must also have an average score of 7.5 for the courses in the second- and third-year of a Dutch Bachelor's program or an equivalent score in the Master's program.
