These are the international student eligibility for the Cognitive Science and Artificial Intelligence in Netherlands

You are eligible to apply if you have a Bachelor’s degree from a Research University in Cognitive Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science or a related program that provided you with:
  1. a sufficient mathematics background (calculus, linear algebra and statistics; +/- 18 EC or more in total);
  2. a broad knowledge of AI techniques (logic, data mining and machine learning; +/- 18 EC or more in total);
  3. sufficient programming experience in Python (at least 12 EC) and other AI programming languages;
  4. demonstrable basic-level knowledge (at least 5 EC) in disciplines such as cognitive science, cognitive neuroscience, cognitive psychology, psycholinguistics or similar.
  5. Also if you are not sure whether you meet all the requirements, you are welcome to apply.
You also need :
  1. Motivation Letter
  2. CV
  3. A copy of your Bachelor's or Master's thesis or an essay completed during your studies (only in English and at least 1500 words; if you have not yet written a thesis, you could also upload a dedicated writing sample in form of an academic essay or research proposal)
  4. Nuffic certificate (for Chinese students only).

Then the Admissions Committee of the study program will assess whether your previous education is sufficient to be admitted to the master's program.In general, the following applies:
  1. Students with a bachelor's degree in Artificial Intelligence / Artificial Intelligence from one of the following universities ( KION members ) are eligible for the master's degree: Radboud University, Utrecht University, Maastricht University, VU University Amsterdam (VU), University of Amsterdam (UvA) and University of Groningen .
  2. Students with a university bachelor's degree in Cognitive Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science or a related field are admitted, provided they demonstrably have:
    • sufficient basis in Mathematics (calculus, linear algebra and statistics; +/- 18 EC or more in total);
    • broad knowledge of AI techniques (logic, data mining and machine learning; +/- 18 EC or more in total);
    • sufficient experience with programming in Python (at least 12 EC) and other AI programming languages;
    • basic knowledge (at least 5 EC) in the field of cognitive science, cognitive neuroscience, cognitive psychology, psycholinguistics or a similar discipline.

The English Language Proficiency (ELP) requirements for Cognitive Science and Artificial Intelligence in Netherlands: are:
