B+ in a Master's program in English literature or a related discipline from a university where the language of instruction is English. In practice, because of the competitive nature of admissions, applicants with less than an A- average are rarely accepted for the PhD. Other Documents:
  • Resume (must include chronological academic history)
  • Letter of intent
  • Writing sample: clean copy of an essay written for a Master's level course in English literature. Please note that non required admission documents will not be consulted, conserved or returned to the student. These documents will be destroyed according to our administrative procedures.
