The mission of the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute is to complete President Reagan's unfinished work and uphold the timeless principles he championed: personal freedom, economic opportunity, global democracy, and national pride. Specifically, the New Reagan Institute operates as a founding entity at the Reagan Library in California and Washington, DC.

Its mission is to go far beyond the mission of the foundation to preserve the memory of our fortieth president. The Reagan Institute actively promotes its ideals, visions and leadership models through youth education and academic partnerships, academic work, and substantive issue-driven forums for the benefit of future generations.

The leadership and president of the United States provide students with a unique experience during the summer and fall, involving them in programming and participating in special events. Our program is co-sponsored by the American Research Foundation to provide students with opportunities and resources to interact and learn valuable information from prominent figures in government, business, and non-profit organizations.

As students learn about their own leadership journey, speakers will deliver their personal leadership courses to promote, educate, and encourage students to understand the power of leadership and civic engagement.
