The RISE Financial Progress Scholarship in USA: The RISE Financial Progress Scholarship awards five $3,000 scholarships each year to students who demonstrate a desire to improve their financial knowledge and educate others about personal finance.

We have developed the RISE Financial Progress Scholarship to help hard-working students realize their dreams while imparting the knowledge they need to achieve long-term financial success to as many students as possible.

The RISE Financial Progress Scholarship awards five scholarships of US $ 3,000 each year to those students who have demonstrated a desire to improve their financial literacy by participating in financial courses, and sharing their knowledge through scholarship essays. Recipients of the scholarship can use the scholarship to help pay for education, including tuition, miscellaneous fees, accommodation, textbooks, and even a new computer.

Application Criteria for The RISE Financial Progress Scholarship in USA


To qualify for the RISE Financial Progress Scholarship, you must:

  • Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
  • Be a full-time or part-time university student; or enrolled to start at an eligible career school, college or university next term.
  • Have a GPA of at least 2.5 based on a 4.0 scale

Steps to Apply

  • Eligible students must complete the RISE Financial Program Course
  • After completing the course, eligible students must answer questions based on the course and write a 750-word essay on the following topic:

      “In around 750 words, tell us about the financial courses you have completed and describe how you will be able to utilize it in your personal life. Have you helped anyone else with what you learned in these valuable financial courses? Do you feel it will help you achieve your long-term financial goals?”

*Employees of RISE Credit, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and suppliers, (collectively the “Employees”), and immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of Employees are not eligible to apply for the RISE Financial Progress Scholarship.
