Supporting students and educators is more than simply providing online learning and course materials, tutoring, and access to the educator community. We recognize students' efforts to be confident and ready to graduate. The Hero Student Scholarship is designed to recognize students who have overcome obstacles on their college journey.
We award them US $ 5,000 each year until they graduate. We also provide scholarships specifically for first-generation college students, community leaders, and veterans.
Applicants must be college students, over 18 years old, and have completed at least 24 credits (or equivalent credits) by the end of the semester. You must be a legal resident of the United States and plan to enroll in an accredited two-year or four-year college, university, or vocational school in the United States or the District of Columbia full-time throughout the upcoming academic year. Hero Student Scholarship recipients will be eligible to renew their awards for a maximum of two years or until graduation, whichever comes first. You must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on the 4.0 level (or equivalent) to be eligible for renewal.
