Entrepreneurship and innovation courses for grad students:

In partnership with the Faculty of Graduate Studies, the Haskayne School of Business offers courses in entrepreneurship and innovation for all non-MBA grad students. Gain hands-on experience as you learn the fundamental skills of entrepreneurial thinking. The Entrepreneurship and Innovation (ENTI) Option offers two courses: 

  • Introduction to Entrepreneurship (ENTI 781 - fall block week)
  • Venture Creation (ENTI 785 - winter term)

ENTI students often go on to participate in Summer Inc.

Summer Inc.:

The Summer Incubator (Summer Inc.)program is hosted by Platform Calgary (formerly Calgary Technologies, Inc.) from May through August every year. Participants are provided with co-working space, mentorship and programming to support the development of new business ventures. Summer Inc. tailors its programming to the needs of participants, whether you are starting from the discovery phase or ready to scale up an existing business. The Faculty of Graduate Studies provides up to $8,000 in scholarships to eligible grad student participants.
