Yuen Ching (Sammy) Ho is the CFO, Co-Founder, and Director of Nova Lifestyle, a NASDAQ-listed company headquartered in California. Nova Lifestyle is a fast growing, innovative designer and manufacturer of modern lifestyle furniture. Sammy Ho obtained his bachelor degree at Saint Mary's University, and as a great Santamarian, he is contributing to the success of future generations of SMU Alumni.

Awarded annually to a full-time international student, at Saint Mary’s University, entering the Master of Technology Entrepreneurship and Innovation (MTEI) program at Sobey School of Business. This award is non-renewable.               

Award selection will be determined by the Dean of Sobey School of Business in consultation with the MTEI Program Director.

Eligibility:         

To be considered for the Sammy Ho Scholarship, you must:

  • be unconditionally accepted the MTEI program
  • submit a 1-2 letter to sobeygrad.admissions@smu.ca outlining your experience and discussing why you should be considered for the scholarships to the MTEI Program

This award is only open to international students.
