All students who apply to StFX and send their first-term Grade 12 transcript by March 1 will be considered for an entrance scholarship.

$5000 Entrance Scholarship $5,000 ($1250, renewable for 4 years) All 1st-year, full-time undergraduate students with a scholarship average of 85-89.9%. Open to all students.
$7000 Entrance Scholarship $7,000 ($1750, renewable for 4 years) All 1st-year, full-time undergraduate students, with a scholarship average of 90-95.9%. Open to all students.
$12,000 Merit $12,000 ($3000, renewable for 4 years) All 1st-year, full-time undergraduate students, with a scholarship average of 96% and higher. Open to all students.

The final value of the entrance scholarship awarded and applied to students is based on final marks for the five Grade 12 courses used to meet admission requirements for your program. Please note that final Grade 11 equivalent subject marks may be used in the interim to estimate the entrance scholarship to be awarded.

Joan & Douglas MacMaster University Award $40,000 ($10,000 CDN renewable for 4 years) All 1st-year, full-time undergraduate students from the US. Minimum 70% average and demonstrated StFX qualities of leadership and service to community. Open to US citizens.
StFX Alumni Association Scholarship $2,000 CDN Non-renewable All 1st-year, full-time undergraduate students. Minimum 85% average and demonstrate academic achievement, community involvement, involvement in extracurricular activities and personal attributes. Open to all nationalities.
Schwartz National Scholars $80,000 CDN ($20,000 CDN, renewable for 4 years) All 1st-year, full-time undergraduate BBA students. Minimum 90% average and demonstrated StFX qualities of leadership and service to community. Open to all nationalities.
Schwartz School of Business International Scholars $32,000 ($8,000, renewable for 4 years) All 1st-year, full-time undergraduate BBA students enrolling from high school. Minimum 85% average and demonstrated StFX qualities of leadership and service to community. Open to all non-Canadian residents.
Scotiabank Entrance Scholarship $16,000 ($4,000, renewable for 4 years) All 1st-year, full-time undergraduate PGOV students enrolling from high school. Minimum 85% average and demonstrated StFX qualities of leadership and service to community. Open to all nationalities.
StFX Residence Scholarship $6,500 for 1 year only. Living in residence is an opportunity to live and learn with students from around the world. StFX Residence Scholarships recognize International students who are academically focused and socially engaged. This award is available to a select group of students who are passionate about studying and living on campus at StFX.

Memorial Scholarship for Women in Engineering $1,000 for one year only. This award is provided to a first year female engineering student who has the highest midterm marks. This scholarship was established by the Senate of St. Francis Xavier University to commemorate the women who died at Ecole Polytechnique in Montreal on December 6th, 1989. The presentation of this award takes place following the Ceremony held annually to remember the fourteen women who died in Montreal. This award can be held in combination with any StFX award. No application process.
Alumni Accessible Learning $2,000 for 1 year only. This award has been established by the StFX Alumni Association to provide an annual award for first year students who meet the Centre for Accessible Learning admission requirements. Minimum 70% average, student must have registration with the Tramble room. This award will be awarded in September and can be held in combination with any StFX award. Open to all nationalities.
Alumni Endowment $500 for 1 year only. This award is available to students from any area who are entering any program at StFX. Students will only be considered for the award if they have parents that are StFX Alumni. Minimum 85% average. This award can be held in combination with any StFX award. Open to all nationalities.
Thomas O’Shea Scholarship $7,000 ($1,750, renewable for 4 years). All 1st-year, full-time undergraduate PGOV students enrolling from high school. Minimum 90% average and demonstrated StFX qualities of leadership and service to community. Open to all nationalities.
Michael Mulroney Scholarship $7,000 ($1,750, renewable for 4 years). All 1st-year, full-time undergraduate PGOV students enrolling from high school. Minimum 90% average and demonstrated StFX qualities of leadership and service to community. Open to all nationalities.

This scholarship valued at $5,000 is open to students who attend a high school in Alberta, demonstrate Athletic achievement, demonstrate financial need, and are in good academic standing.
Harrison McCain Scholarship $16,000 ($4,000, renewable for 4 years) All 1st-year, full-time undergraduate students. Minimum 80% average, with a recognized initiative to funding their own education, who poses strong leadership abilities. Open to all Canadian residents.

BMO Financial Group Scholarship $20,000 ($5,000, renewable for 4 years) All 1st-year, full-time undergraduate students. Student must rank in the top 5% of their high school class and have a superior grade point average. Minimum 96% average. This scholarship is only offered every 4 years, next deadline March 1st, 2021. Evelyn & Denis Morris Family Scholarship $20,000 ($5,000, renewable for 4 years) All 1st-year, full-time undergraduate catholic students that demonstrate financial need and leadership qualities. Dr. J. William McGowan Family Scholarship $8,000 for one year only. All 1st-year, undergraduate students, enrolled in a full-time undergraduate science program.
