We're proud of our past and confident in our future. Founded in 1818, Dalhousie has been delivering an exceptional education for 200 years. With the addition of our Agricultural Campus in 2012, our reach continues to expand beyond Halifa,x and into other parts of the province.
We currently welcome nearly 4,000 international students from more than 115 countries. Over 300 Dalhousie students are studying abroad or on exchange in over 40 countries. The International Centres are committed to providing services and supports to strengthen international experiences for students.
Dalhousie combines the prestige of a big-name university with a hands-on, collaborative education — all students have access to experiential learning opportunities in their programs and nearly 90% are taking advantage of it.
We have three campuses in the heart of Halifax, close to the city’s major amenities. Our Agricultural Campus is located near Truro, Nova Scotia’s hub, connecting the campus and surrounding communities to the rest of Atlantic Canada.
