  2. Applicants must hold a physics degree in good standing from a recognized university with a minimum GPA of 70% or B.
  3. Applicants must submit a completed application and a one-page statement describing their research interests.
  4. International Applicants whose first language is not English must submit language scores that meet or exceed:
    • International English language testing system (IELTS) = band 7
    • Paper-based TOEFL = 550
    • Computer-based TOEFL = 237 (writing 4.0)
    • Internet-based TOEFL = 92 (writing 25)
    • TWE = 4.0
    • MELAB = 85
    • CanTest = 4.75
  5. Non-North American PhD applicants will be required to submit their GRE Physics score.
