Detailed Information of MN in Nursing in Canada at University of New Brunswick

These are the international student eligibility for the MN in Nursing in Canada

  1. Normally, a BN or BScN with courses in undergraduate statistics and nursing research. A grade of at least a B is generally required for these courses.
  2. Normally, a cumulative GPA of at least 3.3 or B+ level.
  3. All applicants to the Thesis or Report-Project streams, as well as Nurse Practitioner students, who plan on working with patients as a student, or practicing as a nurse while in New Brunswick, must meet the criteria to become a registered nurse in the province of New Brunswick, and must be registered by September of the year the student begins the program.
  4. Students in the Thesis or Report-Project streams, only, who will not be practicing as a nurse in New Brunswick during their studies, can be accepted into the MN Thesis or Report-Project stream or to take a specific course(s).
  5. International applicants should consult the Registered Nurses Association of New Brunswick information on Internationally Educated Applicants
  6. Three references – one referee should be able to describe the applicant as a learner or provide an academic reference. The second one should be from a clinical reference.
  7. A written statement of the applicant’s professional interests and career goals. Applicants should indicate any ongoing competing demands on their time and the modifications they propose to make to integrate the extensive time commitment needed to complete program requirements (course work, practica, and thesis research/project).
  8. A completed application form
