- MEd applicants must hold a relevant undergraduate degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0 (B), and at least one year of relevant teaching or related professional experience.

- Three reference letters (academic references are preferred, particularly if other degrees were recent)
- Official transcripts (copied or opened transcripts are not official)
- International applicants whose first language is not English must submit language scores that meet or exceed:
- International English language testing system (IELTS) = band 7 in all categories
- Paper-based TOEFL = 650
- Computer-based TOEFL = 280
- TWE = 5.5
