All students accepted into the on-site MPA program begin in September. Students accepted into the online MPA program can begin in September, May, or January (September entry recommended). Applications that are fully complete by end of the month (from October through to May) will be reviewed for admission and a decision will be communicated with you the month after your application is complete. All complete applications will be considered for funding.

The Johnson Shoyama Graduate School offers at least ten scholarships, minimum five awarded at each campus, to MPA applicants. Scholarships will be awarded to students based on academic standing. To be eligible for a scholarship, students must be enrolled in the school on a full-time basis. All complete applications will be considered for funding. In addition to potential funding from your department, there are scholarships and awards available to all eligible students. There are also special programs for international students from China and Mexico.
