The UFV Bachelor of Child and Adolescent Nursing (BA CYC) is a four-year program designed to help you become a trained child and adolescent care professional ready to provide guidance, support, and assist children, teens, and families overcome emotional and physical challenges.
Starting from focusing on the development and social competence of therapeutic intervention through relationships, it examines and solves the problems that affect children and young people who face social and developmental difficulties.
By offering core afternoon and evening courses, if you are currently working in the human services field and want to develop your career and gain skills applied in your work environment, BA CYC can be tailored to your schedule job.
The program ends with two 300-hour internships in the third and fourth years, allowing you to gain direct experience working with one of UFV's learning partners. With these two practices, you will benefit from structured supervision by experienced professionals who can provide valuable guidance and feedback.
After graduating from the Bachelor of Child and Adolescent Nursing, you have mastered consultation, assessment and case intervention, consultation, advocacy, and policymaking. You have become a well-rounded practitioner of any organization or program. You can also continue your studies in child and youth care, public administration, criminal justice, social work, or any related field.

Admission to a CYC bachelor's degree is based on ability. Meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee admission. Field CYC helps people prepare for cooperation with disadvantaged groups. The performance is scored according to seven criteria to ensure that the strongest and most suitable candidates are selected.
