Our civil engineering courses are based on learning projects and focus on the central themes of sustainable development. You will learn all the skills necessary to pursue a career in the rapidly growing green economy. Our teachers focus on the following research topics and provide supervision:
In our doctoral program, you will participate in independent and original research. Your work will bring significant progress to our understanding of green civil engineering. When you have mastered civil engineering, you will take courses and prepare for the PhD Candidate Exam. You will work under the supervision of a teacher and you will complete a written essay, which you will defend in the oral exam.
Areas of focus
The admissions selection process is competitive. Not all students who meet the minimum requirements will be admitted. It is expected that around 15 students will be admitted to the program each year. The minimum requirement for admission to the doctoral program is a master’s degree in science or engineering. In exceptional cases, a student registered for a master’s degree may be allowed to transfer to the doctoral program without completing the master’s program.
