To be eligible, candidates must: Hold a Master’s degree with thesis or research paper in a relevant discipline. Examples of relevant disciplines include 5al studies broadly construed, geography, economics, 5al science, political science, international development, 5al engineering, and 26. However, candidates with master's degrees from disciplines other than these may also be considered.

Have obtained a minimum average of 75% (B+) calculated according to university guidelines. Other Documents:
  • Provide a CV and a statement of interest outlining career goals;
  • Obtain a commitment from at least one professor who is willing and available to act as thesis supervisor; and Provide an outline of the proposed research project.
