The Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) degree is awarded upon successful completion of a 2-year curriculum which includes 60 weeks of classroom/laboratory work and 30 weeks of clinical experience.
Have successfully completed a four-year bachelor's degree with high academic standing from a recognized university. The Master of Physical Therapy program is an intense, onsite, full-time program and applicants must demonstrate through their application and academic background that they can be successful in a full-time, onsite program.
Applicants may submit a Special Consideration request outlining reasons for studying online and/or on a part-time basis. Applicants, whose undergraduate degree was completed at an institution outside of Canada, must submit their transcripts for equivalency (see Application Components section below)

Travel and accommodation funding (up to $500 per placement to a maximum of $1000 for all placements) is available for students required to do placements outside the London area.Western recognizes that students who choose to undertake full-time graduate studies are choosing to delay their entry into the full-time workforce.
