Program Overview for Health, Wellbeing and Society in Netherlands:

Become a specialist in the fields of healthcare policy, societal resilience, and health and well-being. The heart of the new Health, Wellbeing and Society track is the understanding that sustainability depends on creating resilient and healthy communities, which can adapt to changing conditions without losing their fundamental identities. You are taught to analyze how health and well-being are distributed across Western societies, and how health and well-being can be improved at micro- meso- and macro-level of society. This is a track of MSc Sociology.

You must apply by registering yourself in Studielink. Applications are considered on a case-by-case basis. It then assesses whether your degree qualifies you for admission to this master program.To start with the program you should have the following prior knowledge:

  1. Sufficiently conversant in the social sciences : Sociology for Social Sciences; Key questions concerning sociology; Contemporary sociological theories; Classical and modern sociology in action.
  2. Sufficient knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods and statistics.
  3. Knowledge of the Bachelor's subjects which feature in the relevant minor.
