Accounting is the language of business providing vital information for decision-making, planning, and control. Gain in-depth knowledge and understanding of accounting principles and standards, management control, and other related subjects, including information systems, integrated reporting, and data analytics for accountants.

A solid basis in the following areas is required in order for you to be eligible for the Master's program in Accountancy:

  1. Accounting (12 ECTS)
  2. Finance (12 ECTS)
  3. Economics, Management, or Marketing (12 ECTS)
  4. Mathematics and Statistics (18 ECTS)
  5. Academic Training (24 ECTS)
  6. Academic training means courses / experience in research skills and an academic way of working. E.g. if you have written a thesis or have done a research project this will count as academic training.

You also need :

  1. Motivation Letter
  2. CV
  3. Nuffic certificate (for Chinese students only).

The English Language Proficiency (ELP) requirements for Accountancy in Netherlands: are:

N.B: ELP is not mandatory for all international students. You could apply without ELP if your previous degree's medium of instruction were in English. Students of Ghana, Nigeria, Liberia, for example, are not required to take the ELP test.

Other test requirements:

N.B: Some programs require both international and domestic students to seat for SAT/ACT (for undergraduate) or GRE/GMAT (for graduate and Ph.D. programs). While others require these aptitude tests only for international students. So, verify it with the respective university before applying.
