These are the international student eligibility for the Education (MEd) in Canada

• A minimum "B" standing in your final two years of study.
• Two years professional experience or a completed Bachelor of Education degree with a minimum B standing.
• Applicants with three-year degrees will be considered on a case-by-case basis via alternate admission procedures.
• Applications are reviewed by the graduate program committee, which considers all prior university grades, a statement of research interests, a writing sample, and letters of reference.
• Successful experience as an educator in a professional setting may be considered in the selection process.

• The Application Summary, which is generated after you complete your OUAC application (log back in to OUAC to retrieve it).
• Transcripts of all undergraduate and graduate work.
• A completed statement of intent.
• A resume of your academic and work experience. Include a history of your publication and scholarly paper activity and any other information you feel will interest the admissions committee.
• A scholarly/academic writing sample. You may choose to submit an academic paper (10 to 20 pages in length) previously submitted for a course assignment or a chapter from an honours thesis, for example. If you do not have such a writing sample, you may elect to write a shorter scholarly writing sample (1200 to 1500 words) specifically for this application on an educational topic of your choice.
• Completed reference forms. Two references are required: one academic and one professional, or two academic. A letter from an Additional Qualifications instructor is acceptable. If an academic letter cannot be provided, the applicant will need to submit two professional letters and will then be considered through the alternative admissions process. Note: Reference forms are electronically submitted to Laurier by the referee and do not need to be uploaded.

• Winners of major external awards (OGS, QEII and Tri-Council) may be eligible for top-up funding which includes the Dean's Graduate Scholarship (total value exceeds $10,000).
• Eligible domestic students admitted to study on a full-time basis receive an average of $14,500 a year. This support may be made up of teaching assistantships, internal/external scholarships, and/or faculty-funded studentships or research assistantships.
