Planning GDip is a Master's program at University of Waterloo under faculty of Environment is an online based coursework strudy option.
Interdisciplinary and integrative approaches to Planning research practices is emphasized. The faculty has a strong record of scholarly publication and research funding, and most of our graduate students are actively involved in this research.
These are the international student eligibility for the Planning - GDip - ONLINE in Canada
- An honours Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in an acceptable discipline, from a university of recognized standing, with at least a 78% average or equivalent for international applicants.
- Two years of work experience in planning or a related field.
- Three references - they can be academic, professional, or a combination of the two. Professional referees need to have been the student's direct supervisor in a paid or volunteer position, at least one in a planning related field. Academic referees should normally have taught the student in a senior undergraduate class or acted as a supervisor for a major research paper/thesis.

Effective May 1, 2012, Waterloo’s guideline for minimum funding for incoming full-time master’s students in the first year of a non-co-op Master of Arts (MA), Master of Fine Arts (MFA), Master of Environmental Studies (MES), Master of Applied Science (MASc), Master of Mathematics (MMATH) (except coursework programs), or Master of Science (MSc) (except coursework programs) is $12,000.
This commitment applies to the first year of full-time enrolment for students in good academic standing. At Waterloo, graduate students may be able to receive funding from various sources such as Teaching Assistantships (TA), Research Assistantships (RA), Graduate Research Studentships (GRS), internal awards, external awards, bursaries and emergency loans.
