Program Overview for Global Governance - MA in Canada:

These are the international student eligibility for the Global Governance - MA in Canada
- Successful completion of an Honours Degree in Political Science, Economics, History or a related field (including international, environmental or global studies undergraduate degrees) with an overall average of at least 78% in the final 20 courses.
- Successful completion of at least one introductory course in economics at the university level before commencing the program.
- Experienced professionals in the private or public sectors will be considered for admission, but additional course work may be required.
- Three references, at least two academic

The minimum funding for doctoral students in good academic standing is $24,055 per year, effective May 1, 2020 ($23,538 per year May 1, 2019 to April 30, 2020).This commitment applies to the first four years of full-time enrolment in a doctoral program.The provincial government to encourage excellence in graduate studies at the master’s and doctoral levels.
It is a merit-based scholarship and awards are available to students in all disciplines of academic study. The Trudeau Scholars Program grants up to fifteen new scholarships every year to outstanding doctoral candidates in the social sciences and humanities.
The Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarships (CGS) program was created to attract and retain world-class doctoral students and to establish Canada as a global center of excellence in research and higher learning. Vanier Scholars demonstrate leadership skills and a high standard of scholarly achievement in the social sciences and humanities, natural sciences and engineering, and health-related fields.
Canadian and international students are eligible to be nominated for a Vanier Scholarship, which is valued at $50,000 per year for up to three years.
