These are the international student eligibility for the Development Practice - MDP in Canada

  • A four-year Honours Bachelor's degree (or its equivalent) from a recognized university in a humanities, social science, health, engineering, environmental science, or business discipline, and have a minimum of 75% overall standing in the last two years of study.
  • Two references: one academic and one professional, or two academic or two professional. One must be from a referee who can attest to the applicant's leadership competencies

Effective May 1, 2012, Waterloo’s guideline for minimum funding for incoming full-time master’s students in the first year of a non-co-op Master of Arts (MA), Master of Fine Arts (MFA), Master of Environmental Studies (MES), Master of Applied Science (MASc), Master of Mathematics (MMATH) (except coursework programs), or Master of Science (MSc) (except coursework programs) is $12,000.

This commitment applies to the first year of full-time enrolment for students in good academic standing. At Waterloo, graduate students may be able to receive funding from various sources such as Teaching Assistantships (TA), Research Assistantships (RA), Graduate Research Studentships (GRS), internal awards, external awards, bursaries and emergency loans.
