Program Overview for MSc in Pathology in Canada:

Our department offers research-intensive MSc and PhD programmes that give learners the opportunity to work alongside world-class researchers and faculty. Our MSc and PhD candidates also engage in coursework that supports the excellent research projects the candidates are pursuing.

Dedicated funding, focused students and internationally recognized faculty members allow us to make great strides in pathology research. Our core areas of research focus include:

  4. Pathology of the Eye and Nervous System
  5. Transplant Pathology
  6. Pathology of Infectious Disease and the Immune System

The eligibility for MSc in Pathology in Canada for both domestic and international student is:

Preference for admission to the programme is given to applicants with an Honours B.Sc. (or equivalent) and is based on the applicant's potential for research as indicated by academic performance, and if possible, by previous research experience.

Candidates holding a medical degree may also be admitted. Minimum requirements will normally include a minimum average of A- in the last year of studies and minimum cumulative GPA of 3.7. Exceptions may be made in special cases, and there are provisions for "special" and "qualifying year" students.
