Program Overview for Bachelor of Motion Picture Arts Degree in Canada:

The Bachelor of Motion Picture Arts (BMPA) program will have the option to pursue a concentration in Film Producing.

This new offering allows students to graduate with specific, career-ready skills to enhance their job search and career trajectory specifically in producing and film business affairs.You'll learn the theory and history of cinema and develop your critical thinking skills.At the same time you'll work through and gain skills in the different technical departments.

Your collaboration with fellow students on a variety of projects will give you the chance to try out different filmmaking roles as you decide on your focus. You'll be working with up-to-date professional equipment that includes an 8000 sq. ft. sound stage, 3D camera rigs and a 3D editing lab.

High school graduation; English Studies 12 or English 12 or English First Peoples 12 or equivalent and a minimum average of 75% on all Grade 12 high school courses. Other requirements:
