The Digital Futures Graduate Program responds to digital technology's increasingly important and complex role as a catalyst for change.
Digital Futures has a team of international students and teachers.
A global perspective is a key to securing the future of our graduates in the eclectic international creative digital industry (including design, art, creative services, entertainment, media, and cultural industries). The Digital Futures program is offered in cooperation with the Canadian Film Center (CFC) Media Lab.
The student-centered learning method of the digital future is suitable for research and practice. This course ensures that you gain basic digital knowledge and skills as you explore specific areas of interest through electives, industry internships, residency, and independent study.
The program focuses on practice-based learning and prototyping, with corporate components and support for thesis research. Industry associations help students build a career path before graduation. We encourage you to intern with industry partners to guide your thesis research.
The Master of Digital Futures is a two-year full-time program. In this program, you will conduct academic and practical research in design, art, and technologically advanced media through the following methods:

The student declares that they intend to study for the Master of Design ( MDes) ), Mei obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (MFA) or Master of Arts (MA) when applying. The result of the selected title is unique. MDes and MFA focus on creating practice-based research through supporting papers. The master's degree shifted the focus, focusing on academic research papers and supporting creative projects.
Applicants must hold a BA, BFA, BDes, BComm, BSc, BEng or comparable honors degree/certification with an average of 75 percent (B+) or better during the last two years of study, or must demonstrate impressive experience and expertise as a practitioner in a relevant discipline.
All applicants must demonstrate creative and conceptual competence at a good level, as well as the clear potential for acquiring practical knowledge in the diverse disciplines relevant to this graduate program to create an innovative and implementable thesis project. Other Admission Requirement:

Graduates of the Future Digital Program will be prepared to play a leadership role in research and development in the fields of media, art, technology, entertainment, and education.
Funding options for international students in Canada are limited. It is important that you have a solid financial plan in place before beginning your studies. In order to obtain a study permit, you will be required to prove to Canadian immigration officials that you have sufficient financial resources to support yourself.
