Now that your college degree is over or is about to end, you may be wondering, "What do you do now?" Or, maybe you are still in school trying to figure out what you want to do. The fact that you are on this site is a step in the right direction.
For current students, an internship in a dairy farmer in the United States is a good way to open the door and gain real-world work experience while studying.
And because we are very concerned about the next generation of outstanding talents, we have invested in various scholarship funds. For graduates, look at career opportunities that might suit you!
We believe it is very important to invest in the next generation of leaders to ensure a bright future for the dairy industry. That's why we created the DFA Cares Foundation scholarship program. The Foundation offers scholarships for three types of students:
- Freshmen: High school graduates or recent graduates who have just been admitted to college but have not yet started classes
- College Students: Currently in undergraduate or undergraduate courses, but not yet graduated
- Graduate / Professional students: students who are enrolled in graduate programs or professional degrees
Application Criteria for DFA Cares Foundation Scholarship in USA
- Must be enrolled in or applying for an accredited degree program during the 2021 - 2022 scholarship year
- Applicant's commitment and passion for a career in the dairy industry, as demonstrated through responses to three essay questions
- Extracurricular activities, awards, recognition and work experience
- Academic Achievement

- Must be enrolled in or applying for an accredited degree program during the scholarship academic year
Applications are due January 15, 2021 and must include two letters of recommendation and the most recent high school or college transcript.
