The North American Network Operators Group (NANOG) is a professional association for Internet engineering, architecture, and operations. Our main focus is to continuously improve the data transmission technology, practices, and facilities that make the Internet work.

To support next-generation network operators, NANOG has established a scholarship program to help current undergraduate and graduate students who wish to pursue a degree in one of the following qualified fields.

This program is managed by the American Scholarship®, the designer and administrator of the largest scholarship, tuition assistance, and other educational support programs in the United States. The program is open to companies, foundations, associations, and individuals.

The eligibility of individual projects is determined by the sponsor at the sole discretion of the sponsor, and the American Scholarship Evaluation Team reviews eligible applications. The scholarship award will be awarded to eligible recipients, regardless of their belief, religion, sexual orientation, disability or nationality.
