The GoodRx Scholarship in USA: We will award $1,000 to the 10 most innovative ideas.
Our communities now depend more than ever on the tireless efforts of healthcare professionals to ensure security and information. This is especially true in communities that traditionally face the most barriers to affordable quality care.
We believe that innovation in healthcare in the future must be led by the providers closest to patients and the challenges they face to receive dignified care. GoodRx provides financial aid to students who continue to inspire their peers and thinkers to make an impact in the community.
Community pharmacies are increasingly seen as the gateway to healthcare. No one understands common patient problems better than the pharmacists and pharmacy technicians who serve them day after day, but their value is often overlooked. Through this scholarship, GoodRx provides financial assistance to students and recent graduates who are keen to advocate the role of the pharmaceutical industry in healthcare.
We will award $1,000 to the 10 most innovative ideas that use technology to improve current pharmaceutical practices and patient care. The scholarship will be distributed as follows:

According to the American Association of Medical Colleges, at the end of the 2019 school year, only 6.2% of all medical school graduates were black, which is equivalent to only 1,238 graduates. In addition to representing an outright minority group and also coping with systemic racism in health education, black medical students also tend to enter medical school with a high undergraduate debt rate.
Through this scholarship, GoodRx is providing financial aid to black students studying to become doctors to encourage and support their career goals. Our goal is to help create a more diverse and inclusive future in the healthcare sector, so that African-American healthcare providers feel happy, healthy, and supported.
We will award $1,000 to 10 medical or pre-medical students. The scholarships will be distributed as follows:
