Generation Google is pleased to announce a partnership with Stadia, Google’s new gaming platform. We are expanding our scholarship program to support students seeking a degree in games to promote gender equality in games. Generation Google Scholarship: For Women in Gaming, helps aspiring students get a degree in video games, excel in technology, and become a leader in the field.
Selected students will receive USD 10,000 (for students studying in the United States) or CAD 5,000 (for students studying in Canada) in the 2022-2023 school year.
The program is open to students who meet all minimum qualifications, and we strongly encourage women to apply. Applicants currently do not need to register for the 2021-2022 academic year associate, bachelor's, master's or doctoral program to apply. Recipients of one of the following Google Scholarships: Generation Google Scholarship, Google Lime Scholarship, Google Student Veterans of America, Women Techmakers Computer Science Scholarship, and Women Techmakers Gaming Scholarship are not eligible to reapply.

Terms and Conditions Generation Google Scholarship
For the female game award, it must be used to pay for tuition, fees, books, supplies, and equipment the student requires to attend classes at their elementary school. Scholarship recipients must be registered as full-time students in the academic year 2022 - 2023. Prior to selecting winners, enrollment will be verified and all scholarships will be paid directly to students for tuition and education expenses.
Students under the age of 18 upon admission must have their parents or guardians sign these terms and conditions of the scholarship. For any scholars who no longer meet the eligibility requirements, we will retain the award and cancel the award for any scholars who do not meet the eligibility requirements. Selected winners will receive instructions from Google on how to win the prize.
If these steps are not completed by the specified deadline, the winner will not be able to receive the prize. The beneficiary can postpone their reward for up to one (1) year from the date of the original planned payment, as determined by Google. Google employees are not eligible to apply for Google Scholarships. (1) Residents of embargoed countries, (2) habitually residing in embargoed countries, or (3) persons prohibited by applicable export control and sanctions programs cannot apply for this scholarship.
