Our department focuses on the business and economics of agriculture and food with emphasis on areas such as marketing, finance, international trade, risk management, financial markets, resource economics and management , world food supply chains, and agricultural and food policy.

The M.Sc. thesis-based program consists of a combination of coursework and a research component.

Core research and teaching strengths of the department are in consumer economics, environmental and natural resource economics, international trade, marketing and supply chains, risk management, and farm management and production.
