Program Overview for MA in in Disability Management in Canada:

UNBC offers Canada's first and only graduate program in Disability Management providing graduates with the knowledge and skills necessary to successfully develop disability management strategies, including work entry or return-to-work strategies for injured workers and/or persons with disabilities.

Faculties have a strong background in disability management and related fields, including strong publication records and international leadership in the field.  They continue to build and update the program to reflect national and international developments and standards in the field.

These are the international student eligibility for the MA in in Disability Management in Canada

A four-year (120 credit hours) Baccalaureate degree (or equivalent) from a recognized institution. Grade point average of at least 3.00 (B) in the work of the last 60 credit hours (approximately the last two years). A Baccalaureate degree is required for entry. The minimum GPA of 3.00 (B) is based on the UNBC 4.33 scale. The GPA from sending institutions will be assessed and converted to the UNBC scale when being considered for admission.Other Admission Requirements:

  • Statement of Academic Interests: Your academic interests and ambitions, reasons for applying, and a tentative selection of courses for the program you intend to take
  • Names/Email Address Information for Three (3) Academic Referees
  • Optional: Unofficial Transcript for ALL Post-Secondary Education Institutions Attended/Attending
