Our community is the bond that unites our country. From helping build a strong economic engine to promoting healthy food cultivation, each community plays an important role in the development of our society. Although the Cape Breton community is small, the opportunities are great. Here, you can explore the hospitable island, where there are enthusiastic people who see the same potential as you.
The CED MBA offers leading courses that include all business subjects in the traditional MBA curriculum, with a focus on economic development, leadership, governance, and change management. The plan resonates with people who aspire to lead in the private, public and community sectors.
There are many MBA programs around the world. However, this University of Cape Breton project is the only project in Canada that focuses on community economic development. It is suitable for people who want to change their lives and workplaces.
Here, the courses we teach can inspire students to make positive change wherever they go. Since 1997, CBU Shannon School of Business has been offering an MBA program in community economic development.
