The program's research focus is on the physical sciences, focusing on understanding and predicting the behavior of complex systems. Research areas include remote sensing, polymers, surface chemistry and physics, soft condensed matter, superconductors, neutral radical conductors, synthesis methods, Earth system science, and climate change and modeling.
In their projects, the researchers use a wide range of physical and spectroscopic techniques, combined with novel theories and computational methods, to study various complex systems. Graduates of this program are known for their versatility and comprehensive and comprehensive knowledge of research tools in mathematics and physics.
