Successful pilots and entrepreneurs have a lot in common: they are skilled communicators, make plans for success, evaluate conditions and anticipate changes. Earning a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from UFV Aviation will take your passion for flying to new heights.
Graduates can get a bachelor's degree, a private pilot's license, a commercial pilot's license, and various qualifications to fly various types of aircraft under different conditions. Your pilot license meets ICAO standards, which means you can fly domestically and internationally.
Throughout the program, you will learn flight training, aviation theory, and academic courses. Completed flight training at an external flight training provider. In the first year, you obtain private and commercial pilot licenses; In his junior and senior years, he flies multi-engine aircraft, masters instruments, and concentrates on heavy aircraft transport or professional flight instructor options.
It also builds an academic foundation through UFV business and economics courses, supplemented by science, English, social sciences, and humanities courses, and prepares to assume management responsibilities in the aerospace industry.
Career Expectations:
Based on the outlook from Boeing pilots and technicians, between now and 2038, as global airlines expand their fleets and veteran pilots retire, demand for pilots will grow. The largest increase in pilot demand is expected in the Asia-Pacific region, requiring 266,000 new pilots. Europe needs 148,000 pilots, North America needs 212,000, Latin America needs 54,000, the Middle East needs 68,000, Africa needs 29,000, and Russia / Central Asia needs 27,000.
After graduating, you can fly a jet for business travel or charter flights for one of Canada's 800 aviation service providers on demand. Or you can serve as a flight instructor, medical evacuation pilot, airplane messenger, or tourist pilot.
Once you have flight time, you can fly jumbo jets for major airlines, serve as captains on business jets, or become more unique people, such as air rangers. You can also use your management skills to pursue an airport career.
