In Germanic and Slavic studies, you will learn language, culture, and history. You will learn academic and professional skills that will allow you to live and work abroad. You will attend a field school and participate in an international internship. You will study all aspects of culture, from film and literature to language and folklore. We use dynamic learning that encourages intellectual curiosity and critical thinking.
Our expertise comes from three different schools: Germanic, Slavic, and our new approach to the Holocaust.
In this master's degree, you will focus on our Germanic or Slavic studies. You will learn with leading academics in a collaborative environment. We oversee essay projects in literature, cultural history, second language acquisition, and film. In these two genres, you will also have the opportunity to participate in our IWitness field school.
