In our graduate program, you will explore research-based teaching methods. Browse different teaching methods and understand why we use them. These courses will prepare you for a wide range of career opportunities in schools, community organizations, and businesses.
Most of our courses are flexible and can be completed while you are working. MEd courses are offered in small groups, and these courses are completed together.
In this program, you will study educational and social institutions from multiple perspectives. You will gain the skills and knowledge necessary to be a teacher, administrator, or policy analyst. You can also act as a consultant for government or educational institutions. Research topics can include any combination of philosophical, historical, or sociological research points of view.
Areas of focus
For all degree programs, the following items are required to be uploaded when submitting an online application: resume, letter of intent, email contact information for two references, unofficial transcripts, and, for international students, TOEFL score. Official transcripts should be ordered after receiving the provisional admission email from Graduate Admissions and Records.
Examples of writing are required if you are applying to the Ph.D. program only. See Faculty Admissions for Graduate Studies requirements. All materials are to be sent to the Graduate Admissions and Records Office.
The selection process is based on the strength of the application file and the availability of an appropriate supervisor.
