You will be asked to indicate on your application which research group you wish to join. Successful applicants are then assigned a temporary research supervisor from that group, with final supervisor decision made once the student is here and has a chance to talk to the group members. Note, however that some supervisors may not accept students in a given year -- if you have a specific person you wish to work with, please feel free to contact them directly.
