Program Overview for Master of Computer Science in Canada:
Students who wish to study computer science and earn a Master of Computer Science (MCS) or a Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science can participate in a joint course offered by the School of Electrical Engineering and Science of Computing (EECS) sponsored by the School. of Computer Science (OCICS) at the University of Ottawa He then worked at the University of Ottawa and at the School of Computer Science at Carleton University.
The institute is responsible for overseeing these projects and providing a framework for the interaction of graduate computer science education between universities. In addition to the faculty and staff of two informatics projects, the institute also has members with informatics expertise from other departments.
School of Computer Science is a participating unit of the Master's Bioinformatics cooperation project.

The eligibility for Master of Computer Science in Canada for both domestic and international student is:
- Have a bachelor of science degree with honors in computer science (or equivalent), with a minimum average of B (70%).
- Identify at least one professor who is willing to supervise your research and thesis. We recommend that you contact potential thesis supervisors as soon as possible.
The Accelerated Stream has three additional requirements. Candidates must:
- Complete two OCICS master’s courses each with 70% (B) or higher grade (taken during their Bachelor’s program in Computer Science or Software Engineering).
- Have an admission average of A- (80%) or higher.
- Have a thesis supervisor.

To be eligible for the differential tuition fee exemption, you must:
- be admitted to a program of studies offered only in French OR
- have a secondary or postsecondary diploma in French attesting to a minimum of two years of study, and for programs that offer compulsory courses in both official languages (English and French), enroll for the compulsory courses offered in French
The differential tuition fee exemption cannot be combined with the Education Bursary for International Master’s Students or the International Doctoral Scholarship.
