These programs train candidates for various teaching and research careers within and outside of academia. Graduate students actively participated in laboratory investigations, coursework, and presentations at research seminars. As a result, they gained autonomy to conduct research and prepare publications.

This department is the participating unit of the following cooperative projects: Bioinformatics (Master's level), Human and Molecular Genetics (Master's and Ph.D. level), and Pathology and Experimental Medicine (Master's level) and Ph.D.).
