Minimum admission requirements:

  1. Completion of secondary school (Grade 12)
  2. A minimum overall average of 70% in five academic Grade 12 courses
  3. A final grade of at least 70% in Grade 12 academic English and any other required subject (see list below)

Please note: Admission to many programs at Dalhousie is competitive; meeting the minimum average doesn’t guarantee admission. Typically, 70% or higher is necessary in all required subjects for early admission.

If you don’t currently meet these requirements, you may be eligible for one of our upgrading or pathway programs.
